| The Automobile Club Totana driver won the Championship after his victory in the Ascent to the Island of Ibiza | The Spanish Mountain Championship, after its initial meeting held in Alicante, traveled to the Balearic Islands to compete in the second event of the contest, the mythical Ascent to the Island of Ibiza. It should be noted that this test was contested with the express prohibition of public assistance in order to obtain the appropriate permits given the current health situation.The Automobile Club Totana pilot David Cánovas, attended the Pitiusan event to fight for the first place in the Junior competition, of which he held the leadership after the Alicante test.In a weekend where the evolution of the young TOTANERO driver was progressive from less to more at the wheel of his Hyundai Getz, he finally achieved again the best time in the Junior competition and mathematically proclaimed himself Champion of Spain Junior Mountain 2020, in the absence of a test still for the achievement of the Championship.The last appointment of the contest will be held in November on the occasion of the Ascent to Peñas Blancas in the Malaga town of Estepona.
