| To carry out antigen tests and positive detection | The COVID team of the Murcian Health Service (SMS), made up of two doctors, three social workers and a nurse, began today on the esplanade of the hermitage of San José the visits to the neighborhoods of the urban area of ??Totana to perform antigen tests to people who requested it as long as they met the protocolized criteria. The tests have been carried out from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, which consist of obtaining an answer on the existence or not of the infection in less than 15 minutes.
In addition, information from professionals has been disclosed to residents and users attending, answering all their questions, as well as the distribution of masks and other informative material.The entire process has been carried out with the due organizational guarantees so that there are no risks, with the support of Civil Protection for the start-up of the operation. This initiative is part of the actions of the pilot program of social and community intervention promoted by the Ministry of Health to develop other strategies to combat COVID-19; in such a way that in the coming weeks there will be other visits to different neighborhoods of Totana that will be communicated through the public address system.
