Official statement Carnival 2021This past Wednesday, October 7, 2020, representatives of the Federation of Totana Carnival Peñas, including its president Rocío Tudela, met with the councilor for culture, Verónica Carricondo and the technicians of the same council to discuss issues related to Carnival 2021.Given the current complicated health situation as a consequence of COVID-19 that our society suffers, it has been agreed to suspend the activities and parades of the next Carnival 2021 scheduled for the month of February. It is a very difficult decision and at the same time charged with coherence and good sense given the exceptional circumstances we are experiencing. From the Federation of Carnival Clubs of Totana we want to thank all the foreign groups and groups that have been interested in our carnivals for this next year 2021.Similarly, we want to convey a message full of strength and hope, both to the Totana Carnival family and to society in general.
We hope that soon the music and the color of the carnival will parade through the streets of Totana again.Federation of Totana Carnival Clubs
