| In order to organize the preparations for All Saints' Day and previous days | The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, and the Councilor for Commerce, Javier Baños, have met today with the representatives of the Totana florists in order to organize the preparations for the holiday of All Saints' Day and previous days in order to to establish a protocol that guarantees the working procedure of these merchants and the safety of their customers on the occasion of this emblematic date.The meeting with florists, which was attended by four businesses in the field, took place in the plenary hall and during it the possibilities of the City Council to make flexible, as far as possible, the regulatory requirements that allow them to work in this context of Phase 1 made more flexible with the required sanitary conditions and measures.An exclusive extraordinary schedule will be set up for professionals outside the usual Municipal Cemetery so that merchants can access the premises and carry out orders for flower arrangements: in principle, it would be from 6:00 a.m.
to 8:30 a.m.
and from 8:00 p.m.
: 00 to 00:00 hours, except on October 31, when the service would take place throughout the night.This measure would be valid for October 28, 29, 30 and 31; and only with access for florists coinciding with the closing time to the public of the cemetery.In addition, an exclusive parking area will be set up for professional florists right in the space of the existing landing next to the main door.On the other hand, the City Council is already working on an action protocol that allows the influx of people to the Municipal Cemetery "Nuestra Señora del Carmen" during these dates, guaranteeing their safety without crowds.
