The Local Coordination and Monitoring Table of COVID-19 agrees to establish random police controls during this time of the new flexible Phase 1, whose security device started late in the afternoon yesterday.The claim is to enforce specific and temporary measures for public health reasons to contain the outbreak of COVID-19 that appeared in recent weeks in Totana in order to face its unfavorable evolution.This order establishes the set of exceptional and urgent measures referred to, among which stands out, the restriction for the free entry and exit of people in the territory of the municipality; however, properly justified displacements will be allowed.The meeting was held in the plenary hall and was chaired by the mayor, Juan José Cánovas, and was attended by the Councilor for Security and Emergency, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, the captain of the Civil Guard, Andrés Monje Ruiz, and the lieutenants Juan Manuel González Moreno and Juan Manuel Paco Moreno –the latter assigned to command the Totana Barracks-, and the commissioner of the Local Police, Alfonso Canales, among others.The controls will be carried out by the Civil Guard and will be reinforced in a coordinated manner by the Local Police, trying not to stop covering the rest of the services in terms of citizen security.Justified reasons include attendance at health centers, services and establishments; the fulfillment of labor, professional or business obligations; attendance at teaching and educational centers of any level, except in those cases in which remote education has been agreed by the competent authority.It is also allowed to attend or carry out urgent or required actions before public administrations, judicial or notarial bodies; return to the place of habitual residence; and assistance and care for the elderly, minors, dependents, people with disabilities or especially vulnerable people.The circulation by roads and highways that pass or cross the territory of the municipality of Totana will be allowed, as long as it has its origin and destination outside it; and the circulation of residents within the municipality of Totana is allowed.
