The Documentation Unit of the National Police of Lorca has communicated to the Totana City Council that the mobile service for issuing the National Identity Document (DNI) will be reactivated in this town from next October 6, by prior appointment at Telephone 968 418151 and pressing option 8, according to sources from the Department of Citizen Services. This service had to be suspended as a result of the state of alarm and the measures established as a result of the pandemic.
Given the situation generated by the evolution of COVID-19, measures aimed at protecting the health of citizens will be adopted, in such a way that the place where this service has traditionally been provided, the Municipal Center for the Elderly, will have spaces enough to maintain a safety distance and two tables set up with two protective screens for the two officials who travel to the municipality. As for the scheduled appointments, the first week will not exceed 30 people; and later on, it will be assessed, through an access controller, if this number of appointments can be increased weekly in order to streamline the existing demand.
