The mayor, Juan José Canovas, and the councilor for Economic Development, Development and Employment, Inmaculada Blázquez, have signed the collaboration agreement for the temporary transfer of warehouse 4 of the Business Incubator, with an area of ??110 square meters, located in this municipal property infrastructure of the "El Salaldar" industrial estate, to an enterprising company dedicated to the cultivation and marketing of mushrooms.The company, whose owner is Catalina Alcaraz Torres, who has signed the agreement with the municipal authorities, will basically be dedicated to the commercialization and sale of the product to the hospitality industry and organic food product establishments.Councilor Inmaculada Blázquez has shown her support for entrepreneurs in these moments of "special uncertainty"; while the mayor has transferred the support of the local Administration to entrepreneurs at this time in which the economic crisis caused by the pandemic as a result of COVID-19 is causing the closure of so many companies, and that is also being reflected in the Business Incubator with the offer of free spaces.The Business Incubator is a fundamental element that articulates the creation of business vocations, through a complete process of training and tutoring of entrepreneurs until their definitive implantation in the market; and belongs to the INFO Business Incubator Network and is also part of the INCYDE Foundation Incubator Network.Vacant spacesIn this way, new companies (that begin their economic activity with the installation in the business incubator), recent companies (those whose activity has started less than a year before, can be located and opt for the services of the Municipal Incubator of the request for space in the nursery) and Entrepreneurs in the preparation phase of the business project-The requirements to be met by recent companies are to be an entrepreneur, that is, to be registered for tax purposes as a company in any of its legal forms; be considered a new company or a recent company; have the registered office in the Region of Murcia and establish the domicile of the activity at the headquarters of the Municipal Business Incubator and not carry out unhealthy, harmful or dangerous activities.The Totana Municipal Business Incubator comprises a set of services and infrastructures available to entrepreneurs during their period of stay in it.El Vivero is located in the "El Saladar" industrial estate near the Mediterranean highway, exit 620, on a plot adjacent to the sports complex; and it has a total constructed area of ??1,747.74 m2.This consists of warehouses of 200 m2 (5 and 6) and 4 of 110 m2 (1, 2, 3 and 4), all of them equipped with electrical, water and telephone connections, as well as an office and a bathroom.The monthly fees are 200 euros for buildings of 200 square meters, 120 euros for those of 110 square meters, 50 euros for offices and 20 euros for a nest.Access procedureOnce the public announcement has been made, the entrepreneurs will have to present the application for access to it, according to the standardized form that will be provided in the Department of Employment and Economic Development of the Totana City Council.Said request must be accompanied by a descriptive report of the business activity to be carried out.
To this end, the Department of Employment and Economic Development will provide entrepreneurs with an indicative memory model.However, applicants may add, attach and / or complete any document, plan, sketch, etc., that allows a better assessment of their business idea.It will be a Selection Committee constituted for this purpose, which will carry out, for each of the business projects, an evaluative report on their suitability; and will make a proposal that includes the projects that, according to their criteria, meet the best suitability profiles to access the Business Incubator,The final approval of business projects that access the Business Incubator will be made by the Local Government Board.Applications, duly completed and accompanied by the required documentation, will be submitted to the General Register of the Totana City Council.
