The Local Police of Totana has proceeded today to suspend the activity and closure of two hotel establishments in the town, in compliance with the provisions of the respective resolutions of the General Directorate of Public Health and Addictions of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, as adoption of provisional measures for reasons of health, hygiene and safety, and as a preventive measure to face the health crisis caused by COVID-19, as they are likely to produce a risk or serious damage to the health of the population.According to sources from the Headquarters, in recent weeks, Local Police agents had processed several minutes and complaints to various customers and the owners of the activity of these two bars, for violation of Decree-Law 8/2020, of 16 of July.By virtue of this regulation, the sanctioning regime is established for non-compliance with the prevention and containment measures applicable in the Region of Murcia to face the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19, and for being susceptible to producing a risk or damage serious for the health of the population.Likewise, minutes or complaints have also been drawn up to 6 other establishments in the town, which in case of repeated complaints, that the warnings of the agents are ignored, or that they commit serious or very serious infractions that pose a risk of contagion, they will also be closed.
