The Murcian Institute of Social Action (IMAS) of the Ministry of the Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Equality, Families and Social Policy has recently communicated to the Totana City Council the need to delay, for the moment, the opening of the Centers Day for Disability until September 14 due to the epidemiological situation caused by COVID-19.This measure of non-resumption of day care services for people with disabilities in the Region has been adopted following the recommendations of the Murcian Health Service (SMS), in order to reduce the impact of the coronavirus in the most fragile segment of the population and vulnerable. In this way, the opening for the provision of services of day care centers for people with disabilities is postponed, in this case, day centers, SEPAP, child development centers and early care until the indicated date of September 14 ; the measure may be extended depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation in the autonomous community. The professionals of these centers continue working to reverse and adapt the situation as soon as possible; and they will maintain communication at all times with users and their families to establish the necessary one in each case.
