The local Government Board has recently started the file to contract the bar-cafeteria service in the Municipal Center for the Elderly of the Plaza Balsa Vieja, through a simplified open procedure.In addition, the list of administrative clauses that must govern the tender and award of this contract has been approved.The Totana City Council has a Municipal Center for the Elderly that provides activities and services for its more than 2,300 members throughout the year; which has a bar-cafeteria service.This has double economic utility, aimed at compensating for the economic differences between retirees and the active population; and social, such as increasing self-esteem and raising social relationships among older people in the municipality.Desert hairdressing serviceOn the other hand, the Local Government Board has declared void the bidding process for the hairdressing service at the Municipal Center for the Elderly, whose deadline for submitting offers ended on May 21.
