The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, signs a loan with the entity CaixaBank to formalize the payment of financial needs with credit institutions that the Totana City Council has long-term operations in force, the amount of which is 3,680,701.88 euros, a term amortization 10 years and two of grace period and interest rate 0.377%.Due to the accession to the compartment of the Financing Fund, and within the Management Fund that establishes the framework of Royal Decree 17/2014 with the Ministry of Finance since July 2015, a consistent process is carried out every year, from July to September, in requesting new financial needs or sentences, where a Plenary agreement is adopted and the Adjustment Plan is updated, as long as they are new things that were not contemplated.In addition, approximately during the first quarter - half of March of the following year, although this year it has been delayed due to the state of alarm - the needs are formalized through the adoption of a plenary agreement (in this case it was last 21 of May) to subsequently formalize the resulting loan.The City Council is requesting help for two measures that lead to the formalization of two loans: the first one, for the payment of financial needs with credit institutions; and the second, another that will be signed in the coming days, which in addition to helping to pay current operations are included for payment of sentences.
