| Compared to the regional average of 138 | The cumulative incidence of COVID-19 in Health Area III, in the Guadalentín region, is 51.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, compared to the regional average of 138, according to the latest epidemiological report released by the Ministry of Health to the municipalities of Murcia.As reflected in this updated report on the situation of Covid-19 in the Region, Area III presents 4.4 percent of total cases and 5.7 percent of active cases.Area III of Health has reached 91 positive cases of coronavirus, of which 52 correspond to the municipality of Lorca.
In the last week there have been 11 more positive cases in the region and Lorca contributes six more infected to that statistic.
Totana reaches 19, three more than a week ago; and Águilas is 15, one more than seven days ago; while Puerto Lumbreras and Aledo remain below the five cases.In this region, the lowest incidence of all the sanitary areas of the Region is registered: the Altiplano is the health area with the highest cumulative incidence.
The next three health areas with the highest cumulative incidence are Vega Media del Segura, Murcia Oeste and Murcia Este, which include part of the municipality of Murcia in its population.Of the 91 positive cases in Area III (4.4% of total cases in the Region), 24 are active (5.7%) out of a total population of 178,129 inhabitants that comprise it.
