The Department of Works and Infrastructures informs that the existing needs force the work of the two general collectors of drinking water in the Catre area to start within the state of alarm, complying with the necessary safety and health measures among the winning bidder's workers .The contracting company is “Instalaciones Hergasa 2006 SL”, to which the work was awarded for a budget of 77.3776.21 euros, and the work began at the end of last April. The performance has a forecast of completion of a month and a half; and the work management and coordination of Health and Safety is being carried out through INGECO engineering. This is a work of necessity due to the breakdown problems that have occurred and the unstable nature of the networks that have forced the work to be carried out in this context; at the same time that all safety and prevention measures are complied with, especially those related to COVID-19 as it is a work in an open space and without a massive concentration of workers. The works consist of the renewal of pipe sections with other materials more resistant to breakdowns, located at a more ideal depth for future maintenance work.
