They replace the synthetic flooring of the Table Tennis Hall of the Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez" (04/05/2020)

The Sports Department has replaced during the past week the synthetic flooring of the Table Tennis Hall of the Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez", providing a solution to one of the main needs raised by the Totana Table Tennis Club.The pavement not only slipped too much due to wear in various areas, but an area had also been raised in the central part, having to cancel one of the tables due to the risk of athletes falling.To the acquisition of a new table for the competition, carried out last December, the Department of Sports now executes the work of adapting the pavement, which has been carried out by the company "Todoplas, SL", with registered office in Espinardo (Murcia), whose budget amounts to 3,752.21 euros.The first actions consisted of removing the synthetic sheets that were in poor condition, caulking, placing the new pavement and welding the joints between the new sheets, also reinforcing those that already existed in said infrastructure.With this action, the Department of Sports wants to value all sports disciplines, and maintain and improve the facilities, thus allowing the enjoyment of all athletes in this municipality.
