| In order to provide liquidity to freelancers and SMEs | The Department of Economic Development reports that the deadline has been opened for the application for aid from the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia (INFO), which has set up an urgent line to support companies in the Region of Murcia that have suffered the effects of COVID-19, called "COVID-19 Zero Cost Line".This measure seeks to provide liquidity to the self-employed and SMEs in the Region of Murcia in order to alleviate the economic effects suffered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The "COVID-19 Cost Zero" line will mobilize up to 125 million euros of urgent financing for the self-employed and SMEs, regardless of their size and the sector to which they belong, which may receive up to 50,000 euros as a 1.2 point subsidy of the interest rate plus 0.75 percent of the cost of the guarantee.Its basic objective is to support companies in the Region by subsidizing the interest rate and, where appropriate, the cost of the guarantee established in the loan contract and guarantee between the beneficiary, the financial entity and, where appropriate, the entity.
guarantor, with a maximum of 1.25% of the interest rate of the loan, with the limit of the first five years of amortization of the same; and, where appropriate, 0.75% per year for the cost of the guarantee and up to the maximum term thereof.To do this, it will be necessary to submit the request once the corresponding loan contracts have been formalized with the financial institution and, where appropriate, with a mutual guarantee company or other authorized financial institution.
The aforementioned financial operations must be formalized as of March 14, 2020.In those cases where the term of the formalized operation is equal to or greater than 3 years, the beneficiary is obliged to maintain the loan and, where appropriate, the guarantee for a period of at least 3 years from the formalization of the operations.
, as well as to inform INFO of any modification that occurs in the initial conditions of the loan that entails a reduction or cancellation of the cost of the guarantee and interest during the first three years, in which case the beneficiary is obliged to reimburse INFO the percentage of aid equivalent to the costs of guarantee and unsupported interest.This call will remain open from April 28, 2020 until September 30 of this year.
