Communiqué of the Cycling Club Santa Eulalia & Mobel Sport:Cyclist friends, the 2020 edition of the Mobel Sport Sierra Espuña Cycling March will not be held and is postponed for next year.
Very sorry and studying all the possibilities for the scheduled date of June 14, there are still many doubts and uncertainty due to the state of alarm and the subsequent organizational restrictions on the part of Cycling Federations and the Ministry of Health.In addition, we think that at the moment, the security forces and health authorities have other priorities and we understand that any popular sporting event remains on a secondary plane.
We feel that it is our obligation to be in solidarity with the Civil Protection, Civil Guard, Local Police and Ambulances of the municipalities that we visit each year and not overload them with more work in the near future.Therefore, we prefer to postpone this year's edition and celebrate the 4th Mobel Sierra Espuña in 2021, being able to meet the number of participants that each year enjoy our roads and maintaining our highest quality in the provisioning, organization, security, gifts, etc,…We want to send a message of encouragement, especially to people who are suffering the consequences of the COVID-19 coronavirus, directly or indirectly.
We hope to see you as soon as possible enjoying the sport and Sierra Espuña, one of the most spectacular cycling territories in the Region of Murcia.See you in 2021!A hug!Cycling Club Santa Eulalia & Mobel Sport
