The Totana City Council recommends that users not deposit clothing, footwear or toys in the containers authorized by the Abraham Project Association during confinement by COVID-19 for citizen security, given that this entity is offering minimal services.
Many families are probably taking advantage of this house confinement to clean closets or storage rooms, but please keep the material at home until the confinement is over and it returns to normal to avoid the spread of contagion.
Proyecto Abraham is an NGO of Social and Environmental Action that focuses its activity on the collection of clothing, footwear and toys by installing containers on public roads, this activity being the main source of financing for the entity, which allows it to develop numerous social and training actions aimed at people at risk or in a situation of social exclusion.
The Abraham Project maintains a collaboration agreement signed with the Totana City Council, through which it has installed 19 containers for the collection of clothes in the municipality, of which during 2018 it removed some 60,000 kilos of clothes, shoes and toys.
