The Department of Sports communicates the cancellation, for obvious reasons, of the XXIV Subida a La Santa, which was scheduled for this Sunday, April 19 within the schedule of Popular Running Running Challenge´2020.

The athletics test organized by the Department of Sports was framed in the eighth edition of the Circuit of Popular Races in the Region, which has the invaluable promotion of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia;

but the state of alarm caused by the health crisis following the pandemic by COVID-19 forces the suspension of the test, like many other races and sporting events in the autonomous community and Spain.

The schedule for the Runnig Challenge´2020 started on January 11 with the VII Nihgt Murcia Running, and consisted of 31 races, the completion of which was dated December 20 with the Mar Menor Running Challenge in La Manga;

although it has undergone a notable alteration, and at the moment it is unknown how many of the races will finally be possible.

The Department of Sports thanks all businesses, entities, clubs, sports volunteers, Local Police and Civil Protection for their willingness and collaborative intention with the test, as in previous editions.
