Since the state of alarm stemming from the health emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic began, a wave of solidarity has swept the streets of Totana.
Thanks to the coordination of Civil Protection and the Red Cross, the donation of companies and the skills of some 60 women seamstresses, some 6,000 masks have been made, and to this day they are still being made.
In addition, we also received a donation from the Irrigation Community of 4,000 masks.
In total, Civil Protection has distributed around 10,000 masks among the population of Totana and we will continue distributing in the coming days.
The donations of material, logistics, sewing machines and the know-how of numerous women from Totana, who volunteered from home to contribute their grain of sand, have helped to alleviate the shortage we suffer from this protective element, so necessary on the day to guarantee the safety of citizens.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP AND COLLABORATION!
