Tomorrow non-essential work activities will be resumed (12/04/2020)

The City Council of Totana recalls that tomorrow, Monday, April 13, work will resume in various sectors, which is why the Ministries of Health and Labor and Social Economy have prepared guidelines for employees to avoid possible transmission of the coronavirus, It can be caused by coming into direct contact with an infected person or by coming in contact with contaminated surfaces or objects.

The first document includes some of the actions that could be carried out to prevent the transmission of the virus from person to person, aimed at maintaining a safety distance between workers or, when this is not feasible, establishing physical separation elements between said workers.

The other guide offers some guidelines from when we leave home to go to the workplace, travel to organization within the company itself.

The Government of Spain has published a guide of good practices in work centers to prevent COVID-19 infections, coinciding with the reinstatement of all non-essential activities that do not they can telework.

The guide includes the most essential hygiene and interpersonal distance measures to apply before, during and after work attendance.

As a first measure, if symptoms were present or if there had been close contact with people affected by the virus, the recommendation is that you do not go to the workplace until confirming that there is no risk for yourself or others.

To do this, you must contact the COVID telephone number of each autonomous community and consult the decalogue of action in case of symptoms available at this link.

Neither should the most vulnerable people, due to age, be pregnant or suffer from medical conditions, who, if necessary, can contact their doctor to prove their need for isolation and, if this were the case, an assimilated situation would be considered for work purposes a work accident for the economic benefit of temporary disability.
