That our Residence keeps the Coronavirus at bay and our elders - to whom we owe what we are - stay safe in that compound or in their homes is a sign that our people are responding in solidarity and beautiful in essence of a Holy Thursday or of the deep content of the historical events that we celebrate this week of the full moon.
Farmers or cleaning personnel, neighborhood groups, merchants and hoteliers, close ranks with the workers of the Public Health, with the Security Forces, Civil Protection Volunteers, the Red Cross, Caritas ... with the institutions involved in this fight without quarter against the Pandemic.
Epic and heroic situations that will go down in the history of our people.
Totana is resisting in the best conditions and with the serious difficulties of our characteristics of an agricultural town that must mobilize thousands of people every morning in Agriculture or Livestock, in addition to the essential groups and shops that supply the population.
A true example in general terms, except exceptions that can never be avoided.
In addition to encouraging data, in general from the Region and in particular from Totana;
Despite continuing close to the precipice that we cannot forget for a second, the brilliant coordination of the Local Police and Civil Guard has allowed all people quarantined by Health Service doctors to be controlled and a detailed follow-up is carried out to guarantee their home confinement and meet their basic needs, avoiding that people with risk may be exposing themselves on the street or at work with the risk to the population.
It is a decisive step in this fight, which had us very concerned, and it is achieved thanks to the perfect collaboration and coordination of both Institutions: Health Centers, Local Police and Civil Guard.

We will spare no effort and no one will be left without listening or helping to the best of our ability.
We enable credits to reinforce spending on police, Civil Protection, Community Services or reinforcement of Social Care in feeding families at risk.
The Totana City Council (unanimously) is with its people without hesitating for a second.
Now it is time to fight so that this nightmare ends as soon as possible and we can go out and enjoy our bars and shops that are now closed from the first moment and that are paying first line for the consequences of confinement or the stoppage of activities.
Now is the time for Unity, for support among all and commitment to the weakest.
We will leave this one and the last data give us that hope.
I am convinced that we will come out better and everything will change for the better when we are free of this coronavirus.
The longer we are in our houses, the sooner we will leave and in better conditions.
We have no other choice and now is the time for RESPONSIBILITY, DISCIPLINE, UNITY OF ALL, TO EXERCISE SOLIDARITY AND FRATERNITY ...
