Several forest brigade units of the General Directorate for the Natural Environment have today deployed about thirty troops in Totana and the district of El Paretón-Cantareros to carry out cleaning and disinfection tasks, with water and pressure bleach, in the spaces The busiest publics in the urban area and that district, equipped with vehicles and technical equipment.
The forest firefighters have gathered at eight in the morning in the Plaza de la Constitución, and from there, after receiving the relevant instructions from the commands and the municipal authorities, they have moved, guided by Civil Protection volunteers, to the points marked by the municipal public health services.
BRIFOR workers have disinfected strategic locations, such as security units, health facilities and establishments open to the public, among others, in coordination with municipal cleaning services, which have been intensifying their work in recent weeks in the municipality. .
The members of the Forest Fire Defense Unit of the Autonomous Community have carried out these works in the surroundings of the intermodal station (buses and rail), health centers, call centers, commercial areas, pharmacies, supermarkets, security units and local emergencies, service stations and gas stations, bakeries, bus stops, nursing homes, food courts, banks and other more crowded spaces.
The brigades have been received by the mayor, Juan José Cánovas, the councilor for Emergencies, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, and those responsible for the Local Police and Civil Protection;
