The Forest Fire Defense Unit of the General Directorate of the Natural Environment works in the vicinity of the bus station, health centers and busiest spaces
Members of the Forest Fire Defense Unit of the General Directorate for the Natural Environment will be deployed tomorrow, Saturday, at strategic points in Totana in order to proceed with its cleaning and disinfection.
The works will be carried out following the guidelines of the municipal public health technical services and come to complement the daily cleaning tasks carried out by the municipal contract workers.
The operation will be coordinated from the 112 Murcia Emergency Coordination Center and is carried out at the request of the General Directorate of Public Health to help stop the spread of coronavirus in the different Murcian municipalities.
Thus, in Totana several forestry and rapid intervention brigades will work, in addition to environmental agents, DGMN technicians and units for logistical support of the operation, with 'Defender' type fire engines.
