The mayor of Totana, Juan José Cánovas, is sending today an accrediting diploma processed by Ratoncito Pérez to the boys and girls of this town who lose a tooth during these days of confinement.
The first mayor issued last Sunday a Bando in which he authorizes the brand new rodent to go outside, exclusively, to visit the homes of this municipality in these exceptional cases during the time of home collection.
The totanero councilman decreed this rule given the situation of the state of alarm decreed by the Government of Spain through Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, following the social and health crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Now, after having knowledge of the fact, the mayor sends the boy or girl the corresponding certificate, given that "in the face of the avalanche of work, Little Mouse Pérez cannot remember all emails and cannot see you again."
Cánovas points out in his text that "I liked it a lot and it is all a detail for you to keep as a memory of the tooth that was taken from your pillow."
Finally, in his text the mayor encourages and wishes that “when these days are over we will see each other;
you can go see and play with your friends and family. â€
On his side, he made it known that "the boys and girls of the municipality of Totana are being very brave and are staying at home and behaving very well during the confinement" and adds that "it is what must be done for the coronavirus go away once and for all â€.
In addition, this municipal regulation argues "by virtue of the conversations held by this Mayor's Office with Mouse Pérez to prepare the appropriate safety elements, such as gloves and masks, as well as their commitment to wash their hands a lot with soap and disinfectant gel."
The mayor wanted to respond to this demand in response to the requests that many families have moved in recent days and the concern that this situation generated among the smallest in the current context.
