Last Sunday, February 23, a new edition of the Seville Marathon was held, the test began at 8:30 on the Paseo de las Delicias and could be followed live on television and online.
In her 14,000 athletes participated of which a total of 10316 runners finished the test.
The winners of the test were the Ethiopian Ayenew and the Ugandan Chekwel.
Stefan Pracht represented the CAT in this event, finished the test in the 723 position of the general, down from three hours, with a time of 2 hours, 55 minutes and 38 seconds according to the official classification.
IX Los Olivos Popular Race
On the morning of Sunday, February 23, a new edition of the Cei Los Olivos Popular Race was held in Molina de Segura.
The test had two distances: one of 5 km and another of 10 km.
The CAT was very close to the podium in both.
In the 5km Miguel Ángel del Vals, "Michi", carried out the test in a time of 19 minutes and 44 seconds, finishing in the 13th position of the general (between 200 athletes) and 5th in the Veteran A category.
Edu Lucas participated in the 10-km round, finished in the 16th position of the general (out of 350 runners) and 3rd in the Veteran A category with an excellent time of 37 minutes and 53 seconds.
