The City Council of Totana will proceed to a study that allows the execution of accessible steps to the playgrounds and banks of the municipal park "Marcos Ortiz" for those people who, due to circumstances, have some difficulty accessing this public infrastructure.
This measure was agreed by the plenary, at its last ordinary session and at the initiative of the Municipal Municipal Group.
According to the motion, the municipal park of Totana is an area for walking, recreation and leisure where all kinds of people and users, such as seniors, youth, mothers and fathers with their young children meet, to enjoy their environment and play areas.
Apparently, the gravel scattered in it, in some spaces is of such thickness that it becomes difficult to be able to travel with carriages, disabled chairs and even walk for people of a certain age, who need support for walking.
The agreement establishes that it is necessary to carry out a study to try to adapt an accessible area, such as the execution of lanes in certain areas, similar to those of bicycles, that can make easy access and in accordance with what this case is proposes.
