The Department of Citizen Participation and Agricutlura, Livestock and Water report that people interested in being part of the new Agricultural and Livestock Advisory Council of Totana have until March 10 to designate representatives of entities related to the Primary Sector.

Those interested in integrating this citizen participation body in agriculture and districts must submit an application designating a representative through the Citizen Assistance Service of the City of Totana, addressed to the Department of Citizen Participation.

The councilors of both branches, José Sánchez Pérez and Agustín Gonzalo Martínez Hernández, have sent a letter to individuals, entities and organizations that may be part of this municipal participatory body.

The Plenary Session of the City Council of Totana agreed unanimously at its last session, at the initiative of the Municipal Group Win Totana-IU, the new implementation of the Agricultural and Livestock Advisory Council of Totana, which has not met, in ordinary call, since April From the year 2013.

In addition, this citizen participation body has not been operational since September 2012, as its statutes were officially modified.

The plenary agreement now establishes to resume and reactivate the meetings of the Agrarian and Livestock Advisory Council, with the periodicity established in article five of the statutes of the Agrarian and Livestock Advisory Council of the year 2012.

In addition, it was approved to urge the bodies present at the general assembly of said body, including municipal groups with representation in the Totanero City Council, to appoint a representative person to attend said assemblies.

The Agrarian Advisory Council is an organ composed of the representatives of the unions, organizations and businessmen of the agriculture and livestock sector of the municipality of Totana.

This is constituted as an organ of promotion of the participation of the residents of the municipality of Totana in the field of agriculture and livestock, and having as an exclusive area of ​​action this municipal term.
