Antonia Camacho Crespo, who was Councilor for Handicrafts, Commerce, Water and Sewerage, Environment, Training and Employment, among other areas in the previous legislature, was elected last Saturday, the new pediatric mayor of El Paretón-Cantareros, obtaining 83 support from the 139 votes counted during the process that was held at the Juana Serrano Social Center of this district.
The Local Board of Neighbors of El Paretón-Cantareros will be chaired, in this way, by Antonia Camacho;
and integrated, as members, by Brenda Andreo Crespo, Pedro José Méndez Martínez, Juan Ramón Merinos Costa, Juan García Legaz, Laura Crespo Camacho, Antonio Martínez Costa, Natalia Merinos Periago and Milagros García Martínez.
The election was carried out over a period of three hours, from 5 pm to 8 pm;
and the registered residents or residents of the area exercised their right to vote.
During the procedure, forms were provided in which the names, in alphabetical order, of each of the candidates for the Local Neighborhood Board were reflected, so that each citizen could mark one, two or three of the boxes corresponding to the candidates chosen.
Thus, each citizen introduced an envelope with a form with the chosen candidates, with a maximum of three in each case.
139 people participated in the process, resulting in 0 blank votes and 0 invalid votes.
The voting day was attended by the Councilors of Citizen Participation and Pedanías, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez Hernández and Pedro José Sánchez Pérez, as well as municipal technicians who ensured the normal fulfillment of the process.
Antonia Camacho joins María José Romero who was also elected, again, last January 31, pediatric mayor of Mortí for this term by obtaining 39 votes against the 14 achieved by the other candidate, Juan José Graña.
