Municipal authorities inaugurated last Friday night the exhibition "A stroll of vignettes", by Murcia cartoonists Juan Álvarez and Jorge Gómez, the duo of illustrators "Los Mendrugos" of the magazine "El Jueves; which will remain until February 18 in the exhibition hall "Gregorio Cebrián".
The municipal hall will host the exhibition of Álvarez and Gómez, who are known in the world of illustration under the pseudonym "Los mendrugos".
His drawings have been published in fixed sections of national and international magazines such as "El Jueves" or "Playboy USA", among others.
Both authors met in Madrid in the 80s and since then projected a large professional career.
Juan Álvarez, in addition, is originally from Mazarrón;
and in his curriculum there are works for animation series of the prestigious producer Hanna Barbera.
The prestigious illustrators, who were accompanied during the inauguration by the mayor, Juan José Cánovas, the Councilor for Culture, Verónica Carricondo, and numerous members of the Municipal Corporation, attended the event.
