The Association of Rare Diseases D´Genes has organized an extensive program of activities to commemorate the World Day of Rare Diseases, celebrated on February 29.
Throughout this month, different activities will be developed to give visibility to infrequent pathologies, which will have as scenarios different municipalities of the Region of Murcia, in which D´Genes has a delegation, and also in other communities such as Andalusia .
Talks, storytelling, information tables or awareness and visibility actions in sporting events are some of the activities planned to raise awareness in society and raise awareness about the reality of people living with rare diseases.
The program has been presented this week at the City Council of Totana, a municipality where the headquarters of D´Genes is located, in an act that featured, in the plenary hall, with the assistance of the president of D´Genes, Juan Carri�n Tudela , and the first mayor Totanero, Juan Jos� C�novas.
The president of D´Genes wanted to highlight that the World Rare Disease Day 2020 program includes about thirty activities that will make it possible to raise awareness and give visibility to rare diseases, as well as to bring about the association and the services it provides. to improve the quality of life of people and families living with rare diseases.
