Technicians of the Center for Comprehensive Attention to Victims of Sexual Assault or Abuse (CAVAX) of the Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy train the volunteers who will serve at the Violeta Point during the Santa Eulalia Patron Saint festivities in the During the informative session held in the meeting room of the Headquarters of the Local Police of Totana.
The training action, which lasted about three hours, allowed participants to present the service, read a case study and explain to volunteers what they should do in case of sexual abuse or assault, as well as know how to attend to a woman victims of sexual assault and other self-care guidelines.
Among the advice offered to volunteers regarding sexual abuse or aggression, they highlighted the fact that they did not change their clothes or wash themselves before going to the hospital, try to be accompanied by someone and it does not matter if they have passed since the aggression to request help and report.
It is recommended to report in the Civil Guard or the National Police Station and go to the nearest health center or hospital, between cases, the Emergency Services of the Health Centers or the Rafael Méndez hospital.

The general objective of this service is to comprehensively and continuously address the problem of sexual violence from different professional approaches: educational, social, psychological and legal.
For this purpose, a series of specific objectives are proposed, which are detailed according to three main lines of action that are developed jointly with specifications according to the professional role, such as training, awareness and dissemination, and intervention.
