The Board of Pedáneos held last night officially fired the pediatric mayors of the previous legislature every time the new election procedure for 2019/2023 begins, in the course of which recognition was made of the work done by Esperanza Martínez Meseguer as pediatric mayor of La Costera- Ñorica, who died last October 5, at the age of 61
In addition, the existing needs in the districts - those that were pending from the minutes of the previous session and the new ones that have emerged - were addressed, as well as the procedure for the election of the mayors and Neighborhood Boards in El Paretón for this term.
In addition, an addition to the process was agreed and it is that in the districts in which only one candidate is present, he will decide whether to submit to the ratification day or not.
The deadline for the presentation of candidacies for the elections of pediatric mayors was opened on October 28 and will remain until November 18.
The procedure for the election of the new pediatric mayors will be carried out in the seven districts of Totana and the Board of Neighbors of El Paretón for the 2019/2023 period, which will be carried out in a participatory manner through the open list system.
The election of the mayors mayors will take place in the councils of Lébor, El Raiguero, La Costera, La Sierra, Mortí, La Huerta and ViñasCarivete;
as well as the designation of the members of the Board of Neighbors of El Paretón for this same term.
Those who wish to present must do so by request through the Citizen Assistance Service (SAC) addressed to the Department of Citizen Participation, attaching a photocopy of the DNI or legal residence card and in the case of owners of second residence homes accreditation of Be in possession of it.
Voting will take place in all districts on the date and place agreed by the neighbors;
and in the districts in which only one candidate is presented, a ratification day will be held in any case.
Finally, among the objectives and the work plan that this citizen participation body will develop, it was highlighted that, for this legislature, methodology will be arbitrated that will allow greater autonomy and prominence to the pediatric mayors.
It was attended by the mayor, Juan José Cánovas, and the councilors of Pedanías and Citizen Participation, Pedro José Sánchez and Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, as well as the majority of neighborhood representatives in the totaneras deputations.
