The Local Government Board has approved the signing of a collaboration agreement with the Association for Cultural and Tourist Promotion of Totana "Kalathos" for the transfer of use of the premises of the third floor and part of the basement of the old building of the Technological Center of Handicrafts (CTA).
The agreement comes to respond to the proposal of the Councilor for Archaeological Sites, Verónica Carricondo, within the framework of the objective of promoting the promotion and dissemination of cultural heritage, with special interest in the recovery and conservation of the archaeological heritage of Totana.
The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, and the president of this association, José Antonio González Guerao, will shortly sign this collaboration agreement for the temporary assignment for one year of these facilities, located on the Rambla de La Santa avenue in this town .
This association undertakes to use these premises to carry out activities related to archeology, taking care of the cleaning service of the assigned part of the facilities;
as well as make proper use, maintenance and conservation of them.
In addition, Kalathos can provide the furniture it deems appropriate for its proper use by requesting authorization from the Department of Tourism, and must also take out content insurance.
