The mayor of Totana, Juan José Cánovas, has ordered the different companies awarded the municipal services to channel the hiring of staff through the job boards of the Center for Local Development, which manages the Department of Development and Employment .
The first mayor has met in recent weeks with those responsible for the merchants who provide the services of home help, street cleaning, urban solid waste collection and interior cleaning to inform them that they must use this procedure to fill vacancies of workers that are created in the respective services.
In addition, the Local Development Center will offer specific training courses among the unemployed so that when there is an offer, companies can request specific profiles and streamline the selection following objective criteria and finding people trained in the professional work they will perform , thus stimulating training contracts.
The mayor explained that “the claim of the municipal government is to advocate that the hiring of temporary staff is processed applying the principles of equality, merit and capacity, and following criteria of speed in management, appropriate to the urgency in the incorporation of staff required;
and avoiding other unclear and unfair plug mechanisms. â€
