Recently, IES teachers Juan de la Cierva and Codorníu, Lola Alcón and Amparo Abellaneda, teachers of English and Physics and Chemistry respectively, have participated in an English Course in Dublin through the Erasmus + KA101 project “Tell me in another way†in The center has been working since July 2018 in order to improve students' communicative competence through teacher training in various fields, such as language proficiency in languages, the use of ICTs to increase motivation, as well as enhance other expressive resources such as body language or musical expression.
Over the course of a week, these two teachers have taken an intensive English course where they have been able to strengthen their skills in this language and share resources and experiences with other teachers in Europe.
In addition, through this activity, new contacts with other European teachers have been developed for future e-Twinning and / or Erasmus + KA229 projects in which students are participants and can develop their skills in other educational settings.
Upon returning from this experience, both teachers will participate in the Seminar on Erasmus + that the center will again develop for this school year, where they will share the successful experiences during their mobility, with the assistants and participants, and will develop materials for their Use by any teacher interested in the objectives of the project, in line with the idea of dissemination of the recent Conference on Erasmus + experiences that took place in the school on October 14.
From here we encourage all interested parties to participate in the Erasmus + Training Seminar that will begin at the end of November.
Soon two other professors of the institute will perform a Job Shadowing experience (observation period in an educational center) in Florence, of which we will give information once the mobility is finished.
