Last weekend, various activities were celebrated on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Tajo-Segura transfer for the benefit of the International Association of Relatives and People with Lipodystrophies (AELIP), the Association of Rare D'Genes Diseases.
A concert in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja and a Court of Solidarity Ham were the most attractive activities.
More than 500 people in total met on both days showing their solidarity and commitment to people and families living with a rare disease.
The weather did not accompany what was expected, but this, did not serve as an excuse for the totaneros and other families that met arrivals from various points of the Region of Murcia to enjoy the scheduled activities on the occasion of the 40th anniversary
The president of AELIP Naca Pérez de Tudela wanted to thank all the people, entities and companies that have made this event possible as well as the Irrigation Community Transfer Tajo Segura de Totana, the Association of Expert Ham Cutters of the Region of Murcia ( ASOJAM) Aquadeus, Estrella Levante, ElPozo, Craleo, Preel and Distribuciones El Lute.
