The International Association of Relatives and Affected of Lipodystrophies AELIP, was present on October 16 and 17 at the 60th Congress of the SEEN that was held in the city of Bilbao.
AELIP, had a training stand at the congress from which it was able to sensitize and give visibility to infrequent lipodystrophies among the more than 1000 people enrolled in it.
The objective of AELIP in this congress was none other than to convey the Practical Guide for diagnosis and treatment of infrequent lipodystrophies and the newly presented nutritional guide for lipodystrophies among all endocrine, resident and primary care doctors who met in a incomparable setting in the city of Bilbao.
In addition, the SEEN offered to AELIP, the possibility of incorporating these guides in digital format as well as the entity's corporate dossier within a pendrive that the SEEN gave to all attendees at the meeting.
AELIP was represented in said congress by the social worker of AELIP, José Jerez and the president of AELIP, Naca Pérez de Tudela.
