This past weekend, the Association of Parents of People with Intellectual Disabilities of Totana, has closed its Leisure and free time Program this year with an activity held in La Manga.
On this occasion, 14 users of this association have participated, accompanied by 7 volunteers, and all of them have had the opportunity to enjoy alternative and leisure activities, always within the framework of social inclusion.
Among others, participants enjoyed baths in the thermal pool, walks in the area and night out.
In addition, this type of activity contributes to the improvement of the quality of life of family members and caregivers, offering them time and family respite spaces.
How can it be otherwise, thank and congratulate the great altruistic work of our team of volunteers, without whom PADISITO could not develop its program of activities.
And thank the support and collaboration of the Department of Social Welfare in the proper development of this type of activities.
