The councilor of the branch, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, has informed that the technicians of the Local Police are studying the proposal to place traffic lights that allow to regulate the speed of vehicles in concrete sections of these important roads of the urban helmet in order to guarantee the road safety of Drivers and pedestrians.
With this measure, the Department also advocates, with this measure, the control and surveillance of vehicles that exceed the noise limits allowed in order to reduce noise pollution levels.
On the other hand, the Department of Works and Infrastructure is also undertaking a study to put into operation measures that allow the reduction of speed on rural roads through the construction of strategic highlights.
The effectiveness of these infrastructures lies in the fact of creating a vertical acceleration in the vehicles when crossing the devices, which transmits discomfort to drivers and occupants when driving at speeds higher than those established.
