The mayor of Totana, Juan José Cánovas, wants to publicly convey, on behalf of the Municipal Corporation and the citizenship, his condolences and message of condolences to family and friends for the death today of the former councilor and pediatric mayor of La Costera-Ñorica , Esperanza Martínez Meseguer, at the age of 61.
Esperanza Martínez was councilor of the City of Totana, of the PSOE, in the legislature from 1991 to 1995, assuming responsibilities in the municipal government in the areas of Culture and Celebrations.
In addition, she has been a pediatric mayor of La Costera-Ñorica, uninterruptedly and democratically elected by the neighbors, in different consecutive legislatures, since 2007 that began this journey.
Martínez Meseguer was married and had two children;
and he had a long trajectory of commitment with the neighbors of this area of ​​the suburb of Totana.
His funeral will take place tomorrow, Sunday, October 6, at 6:00 p.m.
The mayor has lamented this irreparable loss of a woman very committed to the social and neighborhood fabric of the municipality;
and highlighted his vocation of public service to the neighbors of his delegation
