The renovation works of the section of the sanitation and supply network of San Ramón Street in this town will continue over the next two months and have a budget of allocation of 35,953.79 euros that is financed exclusively by the Consistory totanero.
The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, and the Councilor for Infrastructure and responsible for the Municipal Water Service, Pedro José Sánchez, have visited these works in order to know the state of execution, which started earlier this week.
The Local Government Board agreed to award the contract at the end of last May to the company "Instalaciones Hergasa 2006, SL", whose tender for this contract, through a simplified open procedure, had presented a total of 14 construction companies.
These actions are undertaken due to the poor state of the current network, both of drinking water and sanitation, assuming the breakage of these is a serious problem for the neighbors and even the cut of a basic service such as drinking water, according to those responsible Municipal
The works consist of the dismantling and relocation of the cobblestone (258 square meters), the recessing of the street to repair the sinking of the road, the renovation of the drinking water network, installation of the drinking water connections to homes in replacement of the existing and drainage, as well as the renovation of the sewerage network.
These performances were a historical claim of the neighbors in the area.
