The Association of Relatives and Affected of Lipodystrophies (AELIP), will organize in collaboration with the European Consortium of Lipodystrophies (ECLIP) on October 4 and 5 at the state reference center for people with rare diseases and their families (BELIEVE) Burgos on ANNUAL ECLIP MEETING the seventh edition of the 'International Symposium of Lipodystrophies of Lipodystrophies, which will also have the collaboration, among other entities, of the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (ERDF), the European Alliance of Associations of Patients with Rare Diseases (EURORDIS ) and the Ibero-American Alliance for Rare Diseases (ALIBER),
This year the Symposium presents a great novelty since for the first time a scientific conference will be held to coincide with the 'Annual ECLip Meeting 2019' by scientific research professionals where advances and updates in research in Lipodystrophies are exposed â€.
Registration and program
After the celebration of its first six editions in Murcia, the VII International Symposium of Lipodystrophies, declared of 'Health Interest' by the Ministry of Health of the Junta de Castilla y León, will be held at the State Reference Center for Attention a People with Rare Diseases and their Families (BELIEVE) - Bernardino Obregón Street, 24.
Specifically, the Symposium program will contemplate the development of the conferences 'Mutual help groups, support networks to face day to day', 'International cooperation project in Peru: International Network of Work in Lipodystrophies', Research Line University Hospital La Paz: Immunological aspects of lipodystrophies' and 'UETEM Research Line: Latest advances in the investigation of Lipodystrophies in UETeM and keys to understanding genetic diseases', as well as the holding of the nutritional workshop' Diet and Lipodystrophies' and from the workshop 'Self-care and personal image'.
