We have laid the foundations to close 2019 with a surplus, and to give a definitive solution to the economic situation of Totana, thanks also to the action of the Government of Spain allowing us to group long-term debt.
The Socialists affirm that "time has proved us right," and that our silent, serious and rigorous work has paid off to improve the economic expectations of the municipality.
All of this is ratified with the positive (surplus) closing of the 2018 budget year, and the approval of the 2019 budget that we left mostly before leaving the municipal government, guaranteed in the future stability and certainty .
We appreciate that the Government of Spain has put in place the necessary mechanisms to allow us to group the debt for its long-term payment.
With this measure we will take an important step to alleviate the consequences that the waste and waste of the PP entailed for Totana, its citizens and the municipal budget.
The serious and rigorous management that we have practiced in the economic area have paid off to improve the economic expectations of the municipality.
Without manipulation, demagogy or electoral tacticism, the foundations have been laid to rescue Totana from the battered situation, in which twelve years of PP governments left her.
We have the satisfaction of knowing that we put as we have always done the interests of the municipality above ours as a party.
From the PSOE we ask IU to act with political responsibility, to put aside his obsession to motivate his political action for electoral purposes of competition in the ideological space of the left, and we ask that his efforts focus on agreeing issues of importance for the municipality with the left and not with the right
