The Community of Irrigators of Totana that commemorates in the municipality of Totana its forty anniversary and of the Transfer Tajo Segura wants that this celebration has solidarity character.
The activities scheduled on October 19 and 20 in the Plaza de la Constitución of Totana and the Sanctuary of La Santa, respectively, will be for the benefit of the International Association of Relatives and People with Lipodystrophies (AELIP) and the Association of Rare Diseases D ´Genes.
Last Friday the events organized to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Irrigation Community Transfer Tajo Segura de Totana and this infrastructure were presented, in an event that has been attended by the president of the community, Felipe Andreo;
the one of the Central Union of Irrigators, Lucas Jiménez;
the mayor of Totana, Juan José Cánovas, and the presidents of D´Genes, Juan Carrión Tudela;
and AELIP, Naca Eulalia Pérez de Tudela.
Among the events scheduled for this anniversary, on Saturday October 19 in the Plaza de la Constitución of Totana will be held from 9:30 pm a concert of bands with the performance of FYV Band and ROCKOLA, and will enable a solidarity bar for the benefit of AELIP and Dgenes.
In addition, the next day, Sunday, October 20, there will be a day of activities in the sanctuary of La Santa that will begin at 9 in the morning with the opening of the exhibition area, at 12:30 a Mass in the hermitage, at 13:15 hours delivery of recognitions and after the closing of the acts, at 14:15 hours a meal of coexistence will be held in the same place.
The solidarity bar enabled that day will also be for the benefit of D´Genes and AELIP.
The president of AELIP wants to congratulate the Community of Irrigators of Totana for the anniversary they are celebrating and to thank for having thought that this celebration may have solidarity dyes and serve to raise funds to follow the people and families that live together with an infrequent lipodystrophy while contributing to give visibility to them.
