The Totana Senderista Club starts this weekend the calendar of activities for the 2019/2020 season with the celebration of the XIII Solidarity March that is celebrated this Sunday, October 6, which is organized in memory of José Antonio Cánovas "El Cartero "active member of the club that passed away a few months ago-, and for the benefit of the Association of Family Members of Children with Cancer (Afacmur) and Caritas.
The Councilor for Sports, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, and the president of the Club Senderista, David López Cabrera, have presented this test with a charitable purpose with which the program of activities promoted this new season officially starts by this local sports entity.
The solidarity march will gather the participants in the place of the Mission Cross, at 9:30 am, for the collection of food, clothing and donations;
and receiving donations for the benefit of the two beneficiaries of this year.
The start of the march will take place at 10:00 hours and will cover an attractive itinerary through the area of ​​Los Huertos de Totana, with a duration of approximately two and a half hours, and an easy and affordable difficulty for all lovers of this discipline sports and users in general.
Attendees can give a donation in favor of Afacmur and provide non-perishable food or clothing that the organization will deliver to Cáritas.
The test, which is not competitive but beneficial, has the collaboration of the Department of Sports, Civil Protection and Local Police, as well as some local sponsors.
