A total of 44 Totana users have been referred to the Program for Training and Social Inclusion (FORIN) managed by the Center for Social Services, of which 13 have successfully concluded their participation during the first half of 2019.
This program, launched in 2012 by the Department of Social Welfare, works on a double objective: on the one hand, it aims to favor a training and occupational experience for people with social inclusion difficulties and low economic resources as a means of promoting their relationship, participation and social inclusion.
On the other hand, financial aid is offered in the form of a daily scholarship - which supports the material coverage of your basic needs.
In this sense, the program aims to improve and overcome purely welfare and economic benefits, enabling its participants to obtain useful experiences, knowledge, skills and abilities for their relationship and social development and access to the workplace, encouraging above all Your personal self-esteem.
Users participating in the program have been incorporated into various resources and municipal services of the Department of Social Welfare and City Services, developed daily tasks common in them
The evaluation of this experience has been very positive, both in the opinion of the technicians who manage the program and the professionals of the resources where the participants have been incorporated, as well as of the same.
