The Department of Equality of the City of Totana and Murcia Acoge held on Friday June 20 International Refugee Day in Totana with awareness activities of this new social reality, with awareness activities in which it has deepened in the knowledge of the the question of asylum and refuge as part of the migratory reality of our days.
This activity is part of the catalog of activities that have been carried out together with the Department of Culture in the project "Intercultural Library", which promotes the integration of the female immigrant population through knowledge of the environment;
an initiative that is part of the "Barrios por la Integración" program, subsidized by Obra Social la Caixa.
The storyteller of "La llave", by Angèle Delaunois, was celebrated as a central part of the activity by the Totana City Council's Equality technician, setting the story with a three-piece creation in which the aim is to reflect the social reality of the refugee, with the collaboration of David Cánovas Andreo, student of the School of Design of Murcia, who surprised with this wonderful live creation.
