On Saturday, the Table Tennis Pavilion of the Peral neighborhood of Cartagena took place the Individual Autonomous Table Tennis Championship where the players of the Totana Club took the first places.
Pedro Miguel Ruiz was proclaimed Regional Champion precisely when he beat his teammate Domingo Méndez in the final.
Both had been planted in the final brilliantly.
The two were first of their groups and then Pedro, who was the number one seed, left Francisco Marín de La Nave in the quarterfinals and Mateo Martínez de Lorca in the semifinal.
On the other hand Sunday in the qualifying rounds first beat the other Francisco Marín, Calasparra, then Juan Cayuela de Cartagena and in the semifinal to Alex Smirnoff of CD Murcia.
Of the rest of totaneros participants Mariano Tudela was able to pass the group stage although he was then eliminated in the second round by Sixto Paniagua of CD Murcia.
Julián Cerón, Agustín Tudela and Vicente Carreño were left out in the first phase although Vicente was then champion of the consolation table.
IN FIRST AUTONOMY FINALIZES THE LEAGUE WITH TWO VICTORIES.
In the league of first autonomic the School Club Totana TM team won the last two league games that played on Saturday at Bacons Bridge.
In the first of the games, the totaneros faced the ATM School team La Nave A with a final score of 4-2 for ours.
They played Cesar Tejedor, Domingo González and Adrián Cánovas.
The points in this match were Cesar (2) and Adrián (2).
Domingo was not scored but he did it in the next match in which the rival was the teams of the School of El Palmar.
In addition this point was decisive because the final result was 4-3.
Again Cesar got his two points and in the double Cesar and Adrián won the final.
Good game shown by the little ones of the club in this recently finished league in which they have finished occupying the fifth position with 8 wins and 6 lost.
NEXT WEEKEND THE TOP 8 AUTONOMIC.
The next weekend will be held in Los Alcázares the Top 8 autonomic, last official test before the Championships of Spain (which this year will be in Tarragona from 15 to June 30), which have a place to participate the best 8 of the ranking of each category and up to 12th place are as reserves to cover the casualties.
All the categories will be played on Saturday, the 7th minus the absolute, which will be on Sunday, the 8th.
The Totana club have the right to participate in the César Tejedor benjamin category and as reserves Álvaro Martínez and Jaime Cánovas.
In the category alevín Cayetano Rodríguez and Pepe Carreño and as reserve Víctor Vélez.
In the children's category Gabriel Sánchez.
In the youth category Santiago and Domingo Méndez.
In veterans Pedro Miguel Ruiz, Domingo Méndez, Vicente Carreño and Mariano Tudela and in the absolute category Santiago Méndez, Pedro M Ruíz and as reserves Domingo and Julián Méndez García.
