The hall of plenary session of the City council of Totana welcomed today the Meeting of Government and the Plenary session of the Commonwealth Tourist of Mountain range Espuña, in which, between other subjects, approving the approval of the program of the Festival ECOS 2019 and a chronogram for the implantation of the brand "Territorio Sierra Espuña".
In addition, during the Local Government Board of the joint body, the report on the needs for the preparation of local emergency plans for municipal fires in the different municipalities of the Sierra Espuña regional park was discussed, as well as the follow-up of the "Espuña Sky" project.
For its part, the plenary session approved the general account for 2017 and the authorization and designation of interlocutor for the implementation of the collaboration agreement between the Autonomous Community and the Sierra Espuña Tourist Association for the provision of electronic administration services.
Both sessions were chaired by the mayor of Totana, Andrés García, current head of the body, and had the assistance of mayors and councilors of tourism of the municipalities involved.
The Commonwealth of Tourist Services of Sierra Espuña is a fundamental piece in the territory, next to the Regional Park, since its implementation 15 years ago;
and is composed of the municipalities of Aledo, Librilla, Pliego, Mula, Totana and Alhama de Murcia.
In addition, it has a wide territory that offers a complete and varied proposal of gastronomy, culture, museums, archeology, parties, hotels, rural houses and activities to show tourists our environment from different points of view.
