About twenty cultural activities make up the program of activities of the Totana Book Day 2019 that will be held throughout the month of April, organized by the Department of Culture, through the Municipal Library "Mateo Garcia" of this town .
The Councilor for Culture, Eulalia Moreno, has recently presented the program that starts this week, on Thursday, April 4, with the presentation of the book of poems "Mi arbolito step by step" and conclude on May 9 with the recital in tribute that is going to be paid to Isabel Romera and Segismundo Deltell.
Most of the activities will be held at the Municipal Library "Mateo García" and some of them require prior pre-registration;
although others count on the invaluable collaboration of cultural associations and entities of Totana.
These include book presentations, reading animation campaigns, storytelling workshops, stories for the elderly, travelers book, literary contests, Reading Club, recitals, etc.

* POEMS BOOK PRESENTATION "My small tree step by step"

* DONACION SOLIDADRIA from April 4 to May 10
In favor of Caritas
Bring a non-perishable food or toilet product and take a duplicate library book from the library.

* CAMPAIGN BOOKS CURING, SANAN from April 4 to May 10
They leave boxes of books in the Health Centers, Cafeterias, Exhibition Hall.
Once the book has been read it can be returned to the Municipal Library

* CAMPAIGN QUITAPESARES
Did you have to return the books long ago and do not dare to return it for the penalty?
With this campaign you can eliminate the penalty by bringing non-perishable food or toiletries as "payment" and you will be able to borrow books again.

TUESDAY, APRIL 23
* IX TRAVEL BOOK CAMPAIGN throughout the municipality.
Throughout the day books will be distributed in different places of Totana
* DELIVERY OF PRIZES OF THE 5th LITERARY COMPETITION "Morerica Galán"
